Halal Certification Process

Phase

1

  • Customer makes an application online

  • Applications are checked and reviewed

  • Certification proposal document is issued by HCO for successful applications

  • Customer agree to Certification proposal

  • Customer pays an initial deposit and schedule of an audit is given

Phase

2

  • Technical Halal Compliance Audit at production site of the Customer

  • Submission of all relevant documents by Customer

  • Review of audit report and analysis of all relevant documents by Review Department

  • Implementation of recommended corrective actions, if any then follow Phase 2a

Phase

2a

  • Re-Audit and follow Phase 3

  • Refusal of application if no implementation of recommended corrective actions

  • Refund of deposit, if any due, according to the HCO 's proposal.

Phase

3

  • Successful audit and approval of inspected product / list of products by approval department

  • Exchange of halal certification contract between HCO and Customer

  • Agreed certification fee paid by Customer

  • Issuance of an annual HCO's Halal Certificate

  • Continuous agreed monitoring and renewal of Halal Certificate.
